Brief Biographical Detail

Nicholas was a partner with Dibbs Abbott Stillman before joining the Sydney Law School as a senior lecturer in Taxation Law. His extensive private practice experience has focused on the more complex types of financing matters, particularly structured financings involving stamp duty and taxation issues. He has for a number of years provided advice to clients on the regulatory and taxation laws affecting the financial transactions they are engaged in and brings significant real world experience to the courses he teaches.

Nicholas has combined private practice with on-going legal education and research. His research interests have been in the areas of taxation law and international cultural property law.
