As the oldest law school in the country, we have built an enviable list of distinguished alumni, including prime ministers, attorneys general, High court judges, governors general and a distinguished list of leaders in the national and international legal, financial and political worlds. The Sydney Law School maintains a proud and distinguished relationship with its alumni and offers a wide range of ways to keep in touch.

Reunions

Reunions are a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with classmates and professors, and share your experiences from your years since graduation. It is an important social opportunity to network and find out about exciting developments and programs within the Law School. If you would like to host a reunion at the award winning New Law Building, we can help you with contact lists for your class, and with arranging details such as catering and speakers.
Or attend Spring Back to Sydney for a campus-wide alumni reunion on Saturday, September 19, 2009.

Alumni Events

Alumni Events are another way to reconnect with the University of Sydney, so attend one of our Distinguished Speaker events hosted at the New Law Building on the main campus in Camperdown. We’ve lined up some of the most eminent law professionals and academics from around the world to present lectures, seminars and conferences.

Alumni Card

The Alumni Card gives you access to discounts at certain events at the Seymoure Center, and the Sydney Ideas Lecture series. Present the card at the library and receive a discounted alumni membership rate. If you have not already received your alumni card, please email alumniadmin@vcc.usyd.edu.au or call + 61 2 9036 9222.

Mentoring

Mentoring is a rewarding and satisfying way to give back, and we are looking for volunteers to mentor law school students. No mentoring experience is necessary, and you can decide with the student how much time you have to dedicate. Before we can offer this service to students, we need a significant number of alumni to register as mentors, so please email alumniadmin@vcc.usyd.edu.au to sign up.

JuristDiction

JuristDiction is the alumni magazine for the faculty of law, with two issues a year. If you know of any exciting events, or successful alumni we should profile, please let us know.
