Dr Simon Butt is a senior lecturer and specialises in Indonesian law with research interests in comparative law.
Dr Salim Farrar is a senior lecturer and specialises in Malaysian and Islamic law. He has a special interest in human rights and comparative criminal justice in Asia.
Associate Professor Luke Nottage specialises in Japanese law and in comparative and transnational commercial and consumer law. Luke is a founding co-director of the Australian Network for Japanese Law.
Professor Gillian Triggs is the Dean of Sydney Law School and the former Director of the British Institute of International and Comparative Law. Professor Triggs specialises in public international law.
Dr Brett Williams is a senior lecturer and specialises in international trade law and international regulations of trade especially the law of the World Trade Organisation.

Edwin Bikundo is a PhD candidate and lecturer who specialises in Indian law. Edwin has teaching and research interests in international and comparative law, international criminal law, international humanitarian law, the law of evidence, law and state security, sociological jurisprudence and critical theory.
Professor Mark Findlay is Professor of Criminal Law and specialises in comparative criminal justice, globalisation and crime and international criminal law. Professor Findlay is a deputy director of the Sydney Institute of Criminology.
Nicola Franklin is a senior lecturer and specialises in administrative law and environmental law. Nicola is Deputy Director of the Australian Centre for Climate and Environmental Law.
Professor Sheelagh McCracken is Professor of Finance Law and has a strong research interest in commercial law and, in particular, finance law.
Kate Miles is a lecturer and specialises in international environmental law and international trade and investment law.
Associate Professor Ben Saul specialises in public international law, particularly anti-terrorism law, humanitarian law, international criminal law and human rights law. Ben is a co-director of the Sydney Centre for International Law.
