Assessment
Assessment varies according to the course in which students are enrolled. All students must attend lectures and sit a formal examination in Shanghai, and submit a research essay following the Winter School.
Both the examination and the essay will be marked by an academic staff member from the Sydney Law School. The essay is due on Friday 20 February 2009.
The details of assessment for each unit of study are as follows:
- LAWS3014 CHINESE LAWS AND CHINESE LEGAL SYSTEMS (8 credit points)
Assessment: One exam (20%), one 4,000 word essay (80%). - LAWS3068 CHINESE LAWS AND CHINESE LEGAL SYSTEMS (6 credit points)
Assessment: One exam (30%), one 3,000 word essay (70%). - LAWS6001 CHINESE LAWS AND CHINESE LEGAL SYSTEMS (12 credit points)
Assessment: One exam (15%), one 10,000 word essay (85%).
