AustLII is always interested to receive expressions of interest from law students who may be interested in working at AustLII (or doing postgraduate research) either now or in future. Details are at AustLII website.

At the moment, we are particularly interested to hear from students who are studying Computer Science or are Computer Science graduates.

We expect a number of full time positions to become available from now up to early 2009, and part-time positions are possible for students whose studies will continue in 2009. We would like to receive expressions of interest as soon as possible.

The types of positions that periodically become available include:
* Project officers;
* Systems developers;
* PhD scholarships (APA(I)).

Some positions result from AustLII's success in obtaining Australian Research Council, AusAID and other competitive funding. Others result from contract projects, and other funding.

Positions combining law studies with part-time work are possible, and are generally offered for up to a year, but sometimes for up to three years.

The opportunities for interesting work provided at AustLII are quite considerable, involving many different aspects of AustLII's
Australian system, as well as our international facilities (WorldLII,
AsianLII and CommonLII).

Expressions of interest may be sent to AustLII's Administrative
Officer, at any time.

Please send a covering letter explaining your interest in a position
at AustLII and your academic transcript.

We will include your details in our register of expressions of interest, and then advise you when any positions for which you may be suitable become available.
