Myer Scholarship at Christ Church, Oxford
Allan Myers has funded a Scholarship for Australian graduate students in Christ Church, with preference for Law students. He has now very generously agreed to increase the funding for the Scholarship to attract the very best students, in particular those from Australian law schools. It is a one-year award which will cover the student’s university and college fees up to a total of £13,750, so it is ideally suited to funding a BCL student for his or her one-year course. Australian Corporate Lawyers Association Student Essay Competition
Australian Corporate Lawyers Association
Each year ACLA sponsors an essay competition, which is open to any law student who is currently studying at an Australian educational institution. Entries are to be a previously unpublished essay, 3000 - 5000 words in length, displaying original thinking on a topic of the author’s choice regarding commercial aspects of the law.
This year's prizes include $1,000 cash and a new Blackberry, with 12 months free connection. At ACLA's discretion, the essay may also be published in ACLA's professional journal.
