Peer Mentoring Program

The Faculty of Law with the support of SULS (Sydney University Law Society) and CLSS (Chinese Law Student Society) will launch a Peer to Peer Mentoring program in 2010. SULS & CLSS both ran programs in 2009 and working with these groups has enabled us to design a program suited to the needs of Law students.

The aim of the program is to help first year students settle into University and make them feel part of the Law Faculty.

The program will be designed to assist new students to build social and academic networks through attending a range of academic and social events with the support of a mentor. These events will benefit all students that are part of the program either as mentors or mentees.

The mentor will be a senior student who will work with a group of first year students to help them settle in.

The program events will run throughout first semester and will build new students knowledge and help them feel connected to the faculty.
