Philosophy of Criminal Law Reading Group

The Julius Stone Institute of Jurisprudence hosts the newly-instituted Philosophy of Criminal Law Reading Group. The group takes a recent text in the philosophy of criminal law and, considering a chapter at each meeting, discusses some of the issues the text raises.

The current text is J. Gardner, Offences and Defences: Selected Essays in the Philosophy of Criminal Law (Oxford University Press, 2007).

The Reading Group meets every three weeks at 5pm in the Minter Ellison Conference Room, Level 13, Faculty of Law, University of Sydney, 173-175 Phillip St, Sydney.

During Semester One, 2008, the group will meet on:
