The Prize Winners
Joint winners of the prize for best oral presentation went to:
Rezana Karim (UNSW) for "Unintended Consequences - A Critical Appraisal of NSW Law Reform with Respect to Dealing with Sexual Assault Victims in Criminal Trials"
and
Amanda Stephens (USyd) for 'Truth and uncertainty in suspected ' Shaken Baby Syndrome' cases: Law vs Science?'
The prize for the best written paper went to Rebecca Bates (USyd) for 'Water and Survival - Does International Law Recognise a Human Right to Water?'
Congratulations to the winners. All presentations were of a high standard and the judging panel had a difficult task.

Professor Janet Chan (UNSW) will present “Mounting Evidence: The Art of Forensic Science” together with a presentation of her artwork. (included in registration fee)
Students from across Australia and New Zealand are invited and some travel bursaries will be available. Students enrolled in postgraduate research degrees in law and related disciplines will be invited to submit an abstract for a paper on any aspect of their research to present at the conference.
