Internships

Centre Interns

As the need arises, the Centre engages undergraduate and postgraduate students on a short-term basis as interns to assist in research or consultancy work undertaken by the Centre. These internships offer an excellent opportunity to become involved in cutting-edge research and practice in international law. They allow students to gain valuable experience in international law. Students carry out research under the supervision of the Centre Director and Centre Associates.

Internships Beyond the Centre

The Centre assists students at the Faculty of Law at the University of Sydney to obtain placements as interns in local, regional and international organisations involved in the practice of international law.

By way of background students should read this document prepared by Dr Fleur Johns which provides helpful information for those considering a career in international law and/or international human rights law. Please contact the Centre Executive Officer for further information and assistance.
