Acquire a sound understanding of:
- International and domestic carbon trading legal frameworks.
- How to trade on the ‘spot’ and ‘derivative’ carbon markets.
- The legal documentation needed to support carbon derivative trading.
- The taxation implications of participating in the Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme.
Content
Carbon trading schemes at the international and domestic levels; practical examples of how to trade on different carbon markets both internationally and domestically, carbon derivatives documentation; interface between Carbon Pollution Reduction
Scheme and Australian Taxation Law.
