Objectives
- Examine the proposed Personal Property Securities legislation, drawing attention to how it will change the existing law regulating the rights of the secured creditors.
Content
The concepts of attachment, perfection and security; the nature of security interests regulated by the legislation, together with the registration, priority and enforcement regimes; the conflict of law rules contained in the legislation; the Australian position compared with similar legislation in Canada and New Zealand.
