Environment

HERA on Heritage & Environment (1992-1998) HERA is a database produced by the Australian Heritage Commission, it indexes and abstracts articles from published and unpublished materials on Australia's natural and cultural environment. Full text articles are not included. Subjects covered include: coasts; forests; endangered species; national parks; wetlands; wilderness areas; world heritage etc.
STREAMLINE on Heritage & Environment (1982-1998) Produced by Infoscan for the Land and Water Resources Research and Development Corporation and the Urban Water Research Association of Australia. Australia's Natural Resources Database STREAMLINE indexes and abstracts natural resource management information from Australian and international resources. Full text articles are not included. Subjects covered include: sustainable land management; vegetation; land and water resources; irrigation systems and water and wastewater utilization.

Australian Public Affairs Information Service
on AUSTROM (1978 - 1998) Australian Public Affairs Information Service (APAIS) is produced by the National Library of Australia and indexes and abstracts materials from the humanities and social sciences. Materials indexed include journal and newspaper articles, conference proceedings etc. Subject coverage includes: law, economics, current affairs, humanities, literature, politics and social sciences. For example a search on the topic "Wik" retrieves over 150 records, typing "Environmental Law" in the search box retrieves over 970 records.

Attorney General's Information Service
on AUSTROM (1975 - 1998) Lionel Murphy Library, Attorney General Department. The Attorney General's Information Service (AGIS) indexes and abstracts information on all areas of law. Materials come from Australian, New Zealand and Pacific Law journals as well as selected articles from the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Environmental law is just one of many areas of law included. A search on "environmental law" retrieves over 850 records.
